I AM FULLY FUNDED

Hello!

It has been a while since I updated you all and I have some BIG news, I am FULLY FUNDED FOR THE WORLD RACE!!! I do not even have the words to describe how exciting this is. One of the biggest things I have learned throughout this process is that the Lord is faithful and steadfast. Last semester when I had a “yes“ on my heart for God to send me I had to surrender fears and doubts about the logistics. Even so, from the moment I committed to the World Race, I had this unexplainable peace about the financial side of things. To watch God bring family and friends around to support this journey has been breathtaking. To each person that gave or prayed for me, thank you for contributing to the work the Lord is doing in my life. There are always senders and goers in the mission field, and each of you are playing a part in sending me as a “goer!“ THANK YOU for your support! 

This is just the beginning, my team and I need lots of prayer. In 2 short months (August 26th!) my mom and I will travel to Georgia for the parent launch then I will begin training with my squad. I will start posting updates and prayer requests once I start so look forward to those! 

For the past 6 weeks I had the pleasure of staffing at Summit Ministries in Manitou Springs, CO! I knew that the staff team would get close but holy moly, I did not expect to gain so many incredible brothers and sisters in Christ! As he always does, the Lord worked in mighty ways at Summit and to witness the transformation in students’ lives was an honor! I had the opportunity to lead 3 small groups of 17-18 year-olds. Most of the time however, I felt like they were leading me! Each of their hearts for the Lord and the things he is teaching them  was so encouraging. I learned that dependency on God is vital to his kingdom work. At the end of the day, we bring nothing to the table. The work God chooses to do through us comes from a humble heart and a willing spirit! This is how our hearts become more like his.
